It took a long time to get this work published with Abyss & Apex Speculative Fiction Magazine. Extinction Level Event is finally published.
It was first submitted December 2008 to them. We went back and forth for months, but with long times between emails. Patience paid off. Abyss & Apex is an excellent and difficult venue to crack. They publish four issues a year, but only two of them have poetry, typically two to three pieces. That’s only four tp six poems per year. I am honored.
