John C. Mannone: The Art of Poetry 
You are quite wrong about what you have written regarding poetry written with rhyme and rhythm/metre. I’ve written 1,350 poems with 99% of them written in this way and the children in my local school, whom I met as a volunteer once a week for an hour, were the ones who encouraged me to write in this way. I’d love you to see my poems by simply Googling JOSIE’S POEMS – although I’ve had a lot published.
